(Cancelled) One-Month Karma Yoga Program Intake @ Yasodhara Ashram

Take this opportunity to experience yoga and work in a truly transformative way!

The One-Month (OM) Karma Yoga program is for anyone interested in living in a spiritual community to explore work, develop self-knowledge and gain skills. This program focuses on Karma Yoga —the yoga of action and selfless service while introducing participants to the main Yasodhara Yoga practices such as Mantra, Hatha, Dreams and Kundalini Yoga — tools that can help expand awareness

Yasodhara Ashram is an intergenerational community where people of all ages—from youth to elders and everyone in between—work together. The Young Adult Program (18-30 years) is now an integral part of the One-Month Program.

The program helps you deepen self-knowledge, integrate as a valued working member of the community and take away a life-changing experience. The OM Program can be a steppingstone to longer-term residential stays ranging from three months to two years or longer through our Pathways Program.

Investment: No Fee. Although there is no fee, you will be investing your time and energy, and your intentions, in the community. This program is funded by donations. Donations are welcome any time, to keep the opportunity available for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Shared accommodation, meals and workshops included.

Yoga Development Course @ Yasodhara Ashram

The Yoga Development Course (YDC) offers yoga in the deepest sense of the word, a path leading to liberation.

2021 will be a special year for the Yoga Development Course. To ensure your safety, we are limiting the intake for the course to comply with BC coronavirus requirements. Each person will prepare for the course by participating in a two-week guided private retreat with reading materials. This will also act as a quarantine period, prior to the launch of the classes and workshops from January 18. The YDC includes morning Hatha Yoga classes, daily workshops and evening satsangs in the Temple of Light.

Come and expand your understanding. Heal. The program, set in the Ashram’s pristine forest and lake during the quiet winter, offers a balance of self-inquiry and group work in community, a process that leads to new discoveries and purposeful change.

2021: January 3 – April 19 in two parts:
– Jan. 3 – 17- private guided retreat (quarantine) followed by
– Jan. 18 – April 19 YDC

The fee for the course, which includes accommodation and meals, retreat and course time:
2021:

– Private room sharing a bathroom with 1 person – $9550

Following the YDC, we offer an extended-stay program for up to five months at no charge to support you in putting your YDC learnings into action.
